Thermablade review

Casual skater may not find big performance improvement. Good news that Thermablade is committed to the product and this current version is based on lessons learned.

Thermablades

This is a pretty good idea to start off with, but its just not worth that much money seriously id much rather prefer to have LS2 TUUKS than these garbage, I actually had a privelege to skate in these guys and to tell the truth it does make a difference in your first 3strides but if you really want to get that kind of performance then go ahead and get the LS2.1 powers which are meant for that exact purpose, but i have had many guys tell me that these holders have terrible durability, and no one needs electricity in hockey that just shows you rely too much on your equipment to do the work for you. So do yourselves a favor and do not buy these.

Thermablade

I don't have these runners and I don't want to have these because they are heavier than a tuuk holder/runner and I don't want to have anything with electronic parts on my equipment. That hasn't got anything to do with hockey, has it?
And I don't think that if you skate fast the ice is melting under your skates that fast. Do you want to change batteries in your skates before the game starts. That is too funny if I imagine a team that have hundrets of batteries beside hockeytapes. For me it isn't an option in comparision to a Tuuk Lightspeed 2 I think.

Therma Blades

Great idea but needs to be improved, the forward lean was not very likable since I play D and I skate a lot backwards but the vice president told me maybe one day they will have 2 models. Overall look is kind of poor, they have a new deign in the process that I have already seen so hopefully it will be a good change. The heat does help with your stride and your starts, I noticed a much faster 3 step starts than my with my Lightspeed 2 holder but I rather use that than the therma blade. Weight is a little bit more but it is easy to get used to, the charging is a annoying because after every skate you have to do that for 2 hours.

Overall wait for the company to develop the model before you buy a pair, the price is not worth it from where its at now.

Thermablade

This is the biggest waste of money I have ever invested in. I turned them on... Not only are they heavier than a normal blade they do not work. The heat on the blade is really just meant for gliding it is not going to change how you are at turning. This product is a gimmick. I bought it at pro skate... Bad choice seeming what I know now is that they are co-owners of the blade and want to sell it to you no matter what. Why do you think they had to re-call it. This blade is baloney I skate better on my e-pro holders than I ever did on they blades. Overall I have to say do NOT buy under any circumstances.

Anyway. Keep your stick on the Ice :P

Well I think we just got an idea to do an article on the weight of different holder/runners. It will be nice to compare let's say thermablade to tuuk. Also, we gonna do an article on the ultimate equipment set and weight of it and compare weight of ultimate set to budget set.

As far as price, we think manufacturers should maintain a good balance and we leave that up to them. Thermablade holder/runner is not intended for every player, since we said on our review that nor everyone will notice the difference.

But we gotta weigh that thing so we can compare it to other holders/runner
