Poor Quality - Another poorly sourced product from China

Poor quality glue for the Poron padding brings this full featured helmet to its knees. After moderate use and proper care the pads come loose and will not stay in. The whole premise of protection is based in part on these pads and when they won't stay in the helmet is just an average one not worthy of the $150 price tag. This is made in China and more and more of those products are suspect in quality in my opinion but that has a lot to do with Bauer not managing quality control (Example: Apple products are made in China and their quality is excellent but not true with Bauer).

Features are excellent but poor quality make this a poor buy. I may switch to the M11 if Bauer will refund me otherwise I will take a replacement and have it go bad in a couple of months too.

Great gloves!!!

super fit, highly flexible and very protective. These are some of the nicest gloves on the market, period! Why does Bauer stop making such a great products?? I have two pairs and would buy more if I could find them (especially at closeout price)! I paid 55 from Total Hockey which is almost half of what I had to pay at HockeyMonkey but I wanted the additional color. Bauer needs to bring this glove back!!

Great Shin, Light, Protective

Excellent shin pads with superior protection just about everywhere. Great fit, super light and very comfortable with good air circulation. Wish the pads were not white since they will soil quickly like the shoulder pads do from sweat and dirt attracted to the moisture. White looks good when new but won't last unfortunately.

Pros: light, air circulation, front/side/knee protection

Cons: the calve wrap is not large enough to fit my large calf but almost gets there. I ordered the 17" version to replace my pro level DR's from college hockey with full calf wrap. This almost live up to the DR Centurion in 16.5" they replace. White color looks good when new but will not last long unfortunately. Perhaps a mix of grey, white black would be better...

Awesome Skates!

These skates are impressive, light and good looking. I've not seen any durability issues at this point and will update as needed. Great job Easton in designing a superior skate. Let's hope that the durability exists!

Nice Pads

Very nice and light shoulder pads. Great mobility and good protection overall. Wish they were made in different colors to not show soiling.

Total Hockey

The concept that they have is good but there is some problem with execution. I have three hockey players in my house and have ordered over $1500 worth of gear over 10 days on 6 seperate orders. Unfortunately there have been several issues getting the things that when ordering are "in inventory" but when it comes time to ship the items just don't make it. The online receipt shows shipped but the items do NOT arrive. Multiple phone calls, emails and chats were required to get some satisfaction. The customer service people are great but I feel that the system they work within lets them down. I have yet to have any order filled in less than 2-3 days and then add another day or two to actually get it into the hands of UPS. This all leads to long times to get products.

I love the rewards program and free return shipping as a Platinum Breakaway member.

I would like to see a better way to reach managemnt to resolve issues and better prices for expedited shipping.

On my first pair of skates, they arrived defective an later than originally quoted due to some issues noted above. When found to be defective the replacement was sent and needed to be expedited to ensure they arrived by the time I needed them. I placed the original order 2 weeks before I needed them but the first pair did not arrive for more than a week after the order this requiring the expedite. As it turns out the customer is charged for expediting even if the mistake is not the customers. I had to pay $94 for overnight shipping becuase of a defective product which only weighed 5 pounds and a small package. UPS price was less than that but that is what TH charged. I should not have had to pay at all... I'm still waiting for TH to amend this issue as I have no intention on paying that amount for a mistake/issue that was no fault of the customer.

I read all the reviews before I started using TH and felt confident that this would be a good experience but I am still waiting for the good experience. I hope it gets better or IW is getting all my business.
