6k Pad from RBK

Not for everyday use but for beer league is excellent choice.

RBK 6K Goalie pads

These pads are not top of the line. Rbk needs to get thier pads to slide on the ice better because mine did not slide very well (gets annoying). They wear at half a season of playing about 3 times a week. The stock colors are not many peoples first choise but they are common colors. Never tried the "turco break" pad but they take half a season to break in...doing the correct way to break them in. The Vaughn Velocity 7200 are way better...after buying these pads i'm never buying RBK's again. This pad is more for a goalie in novice or just starting goalie in atom. On the plus side the pad is mid price and can be a great starter pad...but if you want a quick break in get the turco flex.

RBK 8k int.

Great pad, better than most low-mid priced pad, ex. itech rx5.
Comfort 4: The knee raiser are kind of stiff and uncomfortable at first, but as you get use to it its fine.
Durability 4: Some fraying, but no breaking down or anything.
Fit 4: The wider calf area takes some time to get used to.
Flexibility 3: A fairly stiff pad, takes a while to break in.
Protection 5: Again compare to other low-mid pads, the feature on this one is superb, according to Reebok, the difference between the 8k and PS2 is the weight,(well and the price $599-$1399) I assume almost the same for 6k,except the graphics (8k sewn on, 6k printed)
Visual Looks 5: Looks great, I actually think it is better than the PS3s.
Weight: Light pad considering it actually have good padding, some others are light but are just a piece of crap.
