Bauer 9900 Helmet Review Hot

Haven't had any issues with pads coming loose but the rear "sponge" is starting to fall apart and I have lost one of the rear adjustment sliders. A call to Bauer informed me this is not a replacement part! Unbelievable! Only will replace if under warranty. So if you need any parts on a helmet older than 1 year old Good Luck. As much as I like and enjoy Bauer products, I am totally dismayed with their quality control and customer service.

Poor quality glue for the Poron padding brings this full featured helmet to its knees. After moderate use and proper care the pads come loose and will not stay in. The whole premise of protection is based in part on these pads and when they won't stay in the helmet is just an average one not worthy of the $150 price tag. This is made in China and more and more of those products are suspect in quality in my opinion but that has a lot to do with Bauer not managing quality control (Example: Apple products are made in China and their quality is excellent but not true with Bauer).

Features are excellent but poor quality make this a poor buy. I may switch to the M11 if Bauer will refund me otherwise I will take a replacement and have it go bad in a couple of months too.

The Helmet is great,all areas,weight needs to be lighter but still its awesome.
