These gloves came out of the package feeling broken in perfectly! They are amazingly comfortable, look great, and seem very durable. They flex perfectly, while still giving you adequate protection. They have just the right amount of room around the hand and wrist,if you are a fan of the blooming cuff style gloves. Overall, very nice gloves! If you're ordering online, I am 5'9", average weight and have average sized hands...I ordered the 14" gloves and they fit perfectly.
Great gloves! I prefer gloves that do not restrict my hands/ wrists. The Bauer 4 Rolls feel secure, but are wide up at the wrists to give great range of movement on the wrists. They also have a lot of protection which we all know is extremely important and they are not heavy at all. Worth the price at 110 dollars.
The gloves are very light and extremely comfortable. The palms don't crust and they still feel brand new after a year( They are used 3-4 times a week). My only complaint is that the material around the 4 chrome vents on the front fray off a little but can easily be cut off. They have a nice palm but the protection in the fingers could be better.
Great Gloves!! Very Comfortable and Lightweight! Soft, Lightweight, and Nice Palms!!! But once the palms start to wear (takes 2 or 3 months) they go very fast and become in very bad shape quick.
very comfortable. take time to brake in which is a good thing. palms wear out though. great looking too. the four rolls are a more sapcious glove compared to the bauer x60s or one95's. great feeling. i'm getting them again!
This is the best glove I have ever used and probably the best on the market. Very comfortable and durable the only thing that I don't personally like is that the fingers are a little long but I didn't really care. And they also run pretty small for the size and stretch out some.
these gloves are great! Bauer really did a good job at keeping this glove a classic with an old fasioned feel. the palms on them have lasted me two years. also these gloves are pretty light but very protective with the plastic inserts. the only thing i dont like about them is the palms get really crusty so all year i just had to leave them in my bag and not air them out. but all-in-all a great glove!
This has been one of my favorite gloves. The feel of the palm bauer uses on their gloves is the best there is. Only problem is ive been through 2 pairs in about a year. The nylon they uses doesnt seem to durable and after a few months i go through one layer of the palm
These are a very solid glove. They are pretty comfortable,a little rough on the back of the hand sometimes but nothing major. Durability has been good,I've used them for almost a year, used about once a week, there is a tiny hole through the first layer of the palm, and they have recently started to ball up a little, but not much and I've used them quite a bit. They fit very loose,at least one size up from what they are listed as,which I don't particularly like, but that's just my opinion. Flexibility is great,I never had any stiffness problems, the fingers are especially mobile which is great. Protection is another thing that is superb,I've blocked shots in the back of the hand and front, and didn't feel a thing. They are a tad on the heavy side for my liking, but the protection makes up for it. Visual looks are great, whether you get a simple sleek black,or a pro-stock U. of Maine color scheme, they are very nice. These are great gloves for a defenseman who blocks shots and like a loose fitting glove.
if these are a true leather palm, then the comment about the gloves being less comfortable over time could be solved by rubbing in some mink oil into the leather to restore suppleness and flexibility
