straight up armor

stout guards, very strong. they really take a beating
the stiching along the outside of the calve started to come undone at the same time and the same place on both guards, but nothing shoe goo didnt fix ( shoe goo or goop fixes anything....try it)
the look great but that doesnt matter because we all wear socks over em.
the are on the bigger bulkier side, so if thats not the look you want then maybe consider others, but thier not too big
i took a slap shot from a former pro right to where it sayes "fuel 100" on the front........no pain baby. no ckacks. just one fat scuff. i have the shin, elbow, and shoulder pads from the "fuel 100" line (PACKAGE DEAL @ MONKEY)and i think they ment to name them "diesel 1000". because thats what they should be called

Durable for sure

very durable, especially me being 6ft 5in, 250+ pounds. if you want something that will last and really protect you on hard falls, this is the way to go. the plastic of the knees is very durable and wont easily crack on you like some knee pads. the only thing i didnt like was the comfort. these pads dont really conform to your legs and so they dont have that secure feeling. great flexibility, protection, durability, and light as well! a must buy if your knees typically take a pounding

Durable for sure

im a big guy, about 6ft 5in, and around 280 and i can honestly say these very durable, but these are definitely not too comfortable. the protection is great, even when you fall directly on the knees. these babies will take a beating, but like i said, they arent too comfortable.
