Bought a pair of pants and $40 for 2nd air shipping. Despite the second day air shipping item was not received for five days. Customer service not only downplayed this issue but continued to suggest it was standard procedure. Customer service was horrible and insist 5 days for 2 day air shipping is okay. Never again!!

I've only made a few purchases from HockeyMonkey, and I have to say their customer service leaves a little to be desired....First I was on hold for awhile, then the person I spoke with couldn't answer my questions, so I was put back on hold forever. Will definitely do all my business through Inline/Ice Warehouse in the future.

Ever since a player uttered the words "Hockey Monkey" in the locker room i was intrigued. I had some kind of vision of a cartoon monkey playing hockey or something ridiculous like that. Fact is, there's nothing ridiculous about Hockeymonkey.com. They always have a huge selection, the ability to pre-order items, daily deals, and big sales that can save you a ton of money. Now normally i would condone supporting the local hockey shop, but since i found hockey monkey i would be a fool to pay for middleman inflation and overhead. Sometimes there are prices set by the manufacturer that are not negotiable and hockey monkey makes that clear on the pricing. They will also take any product back with a guarantee that challenges you to find a better deal anywhere else with a full refund.
I have made team purchases there before too, and was more than satisfied. The customer service is great and the shipping department rocks. There have been orders that have arrived 2 days after i placed the order (without ordering 2nd day air). The only thing they need is to add video reviews of the products on the site.
I highly recommend this online store to all. I dont even purchase my stick and sock tape at the hockey shop anymore.

Anytime I'm looking for a new piece of equipment, I always end up finding the best deal from them. If your looking for a specific model, they may or may not be cheaper than everyone else. But if your just looking for skates, nothing particular in mind, you will fond a great deal on something. They have everything and it's rare to find anything overpriced at all. I've ordered from them about 5 times and they usually ship the next day. I've dealt with customer service twice and were very helpful both times. I just wish they would give free shipping like some other places do on orders over $100. They charge like $5 for handling on top of shipping. I've ordered entire sets of pads and they ship for the same price as a pair of skates, so I guess its still comes out even in the end.

I love hockey monkey! Some stuff is more expensive some stuff is cheaper then others. They are a great company to do business with. I will order more stuff in the future from them. Their customer service is very fast which is awesome. They ship out your stuff very fast and who doesn't mind that? Their package deal pricing is good if your looking for more then one stick or a full pad set.

this site i awsome, well orginazined, easy to use, best prices ull find BUT a HUGE PROBLEM they DONT ship easton and bauer to CANADA n that reall sucks cuz those r the 2 biggest brands in hockey(altho warrior is catchin up)

This is my preferred online hockey shop. Only real complaint is their shipping and handling fees. Everything else is usually pretty great. Love some of their deals.

You also have to pay a restocking fee (15% of the sales price of the item) on returns. This sucks when you buy a lower cost item and need to return it, because by the time you pay their high shipping fees, and the restocking fee, it isn't worth it.
