Warrior Review

I agree with one of the previous reviewer's on Warrior cares about their designs and image a lot more then their functionality. And that their advertising is more aimed at young kids then hockey players as a whole. I am not a big fan of Warrior's protective gear or sticks. The only parts that I like about Warrior are their hockey pants, gloves and the new AK27 stick with the velvet grip finish. That stick is just amazing and the design is awesome on that stick very simple yet awesome. I wish I could say that for their other sticks. They are just way to flashy. The other problem is their sticks don't carry a warranty like others do. I am not to sure about their top of the line sticks but I know the lower ones like the Bentley do not have a warranty. And a lot of their protective gear is a lot more then many other companies that offer the same level of protection.

Warrior Hockey company

The sticks and gloves are good quality, but the rest of the Warrior collection I don't like a lot. Sometimes I think, they just care about the design and their crazy image!
The sticks are played a lot, but never saw somebody with Warrior protective, yet.
But sticks and gloves, a lot. Have had a Dolomite HD Stick and it was great!

Sticks are great

I do not agree with their advertising but I love their sticks. They simply make great sticks that perform incredibly well. Their graphics are good and they make fairly durable from my experiences. I haven't tried their gloves yet,but I am planning on purchasing a pair this year. They are on of my top company's just because of their sticks and gloves.

Great gear for a lacrosse company

Have not seen a company make a swift impact on hockey like Warrior has. Solid gear but marketing appeals to the kids like not other. They are the best marketed Hockey company IMO.

Sizing: Seems a little all over the board, Shin pads are narrower but should pads slightly wider. But it fits well for me.

Comfort: Nice material you can wear on bare skin. Not as nice as Nike, but in line with RBK>

Durability: My Hitman shoulder pads, and my friend shin pads just simply to new to know. But Lacrosse gear does pretty well.

Protection: Pretty high, slight below top of line RBK gear but good.

Weight: Seems to be on the heavier side but wears well.

Sticks: Wow, my favorite sticks to use - simply awesome. Nothing has felt like their sticks. They are slightly stiffer than others. However I friggen broke my Dolomite blade after 30 days. Not paying $50 for replacement blades. Bought Pro-Stock blades for 19.99 at HockeyMonkey - they have been great. Other note - their opening for replacement blades are noticably smaller. Takes some serious muscle to replace Warrior tapered blades.

It's wierd but their gear fits better standing up. I know that sounds funny but it's true. It's like they tested this stuff playing Lacrosse. My should pads bunch up to the top when I'm skating or sitting on the bench. I actually notice it at times when I play. Great protection and fit well - until you take a deep turn or get low for a shot.
