CCM Octo Gun 30

This review is on behalf of a team mate and after discussing the stick we came to some conclusions. The Octo gun 30 stick has a nice feel to it but tends to be quite flexible at times even as tested at 100 flex.

Stick handling is brilliant with the octo gun, offering a great feeling for the puck.

The stick however feels very delicate and it doesn't look like it will stand up to constant use.

Overall the stick has good all round quality with the exception to the durability which lets it down significantly.

the first time i used this stick i really damaged the toe of the blade pretty pad and can't even recall anything that might have caused it. it's durability isnt so good and it's a little on on the heavy side weighting in at 470 grams. this stick is okay but the on mine damaged very easy very easy.

i've had two of these and they are a pretty decent stick. the things i noticed that were bad are the durability issues (first one had the blade start to delaminate) and the flex seems a bit too much as a 100 flex felt a little on the light side.
