492 Helmet

a decent helmet for the price , the padding inside is a little hard on the sides and sometimes hurts the sides of my head , last a long time i have used it for about a year and still going strong, fits very well and very flexible, offers good protection , got hit in the head of a rebound from the post with a puck and dint feel a thing, a pretty good looking helmet , more the old school style, and has lightweight protection.

CCM 492 Helmet

Best bang for your buck, old-school NHL helmet. Can be used in conjunction with ANY visor out there in the market. Take off the ear-protectors and make the helmet even lighter. I'm on my 3rd CCM 492 helmet and have no interest in paying $200 for one of the fancy Nike, or Reebok versions. Two thumbs up!
