Dome Cap

Well this thing is pretty much bulletproof that is for sure but it does not fit your head to well, it is very long and it's too wide. It is very heavy and it will move around on your head. Also note that many visors will not fit this helmet.

not good

this helmet is very dissapointing. the fit is terrible-its too long and too narrow on the sides, some of the inside of the helmet was starting to rust after a short time. my helmet also cracked, do not reccomend getting, also had a friend who had one, he was also very dissatisfied. now i have a Bauer 9500 Helmet, the 9500 is the best helmet out there, just about everything bauer is, it feels great, great looks protection everything. Highly recommend getting a bauer 9500

I'd love to hear your review. I'm thinking of looking for a new helmet to find one that fits on my head as well as my CCM X40 (incredibly secure and snug) but more comfort.
I am shy of the this Cascade helmet because I think the two parts of the foam will separate too easily and it will be poor fit.
I'd like to hear why you think it's good.

Hi, would anyone reccomend this helmet for playing in goal? I'm currently using Cooper sk2000's, but they're knocking on a bit now and the supply is getting more and more scarce.
As mentioned in the video EPP deteriorates, so most of the higher end helmets are no good for keepers, whereas the cheaper ones (normally vinyl-nitrate padding) are too uncomfortable, heavy and don't dissipate the impact very well.
Is this egg-box padding the way forward?
Cheers,
Dave
