Flexible, light and durable

I ordered a set of these pads in the summer of 2008 and they have been very good. I definitely saw about 6 things that I wanted changed from the in stock pad such as wider leg channel, all leather straps, extra boot strap, longer ATK than normal. 22. I had the Beast graphic put on the face and during the whole process Brian's were really willing to change anything to accomodate me.
I find that these pads are flexible, light weight, very durable after 100+ icetimes, and the rebound control is wicked. Not only due to the flat face, but the density of the foam really does absorb alot of the puck impact and they tend to die out rather than have to worry about having to angle large rebounds. This absorption only started after about 20 games or so once they loosened up so a new pad may not give you the same result right away.
My only complaints are both with the inside edge of the pad. The gap between the knee lifter and the lower block is too big and will allow a puck to enter if you have your leg turned just so.. Also, the lower block doesn't go down low enough to protect you from inside ankle shots so Reebok goal skates are out of the question due to their streamlined cowlings. I know that these are a butterfly style pad and playing like Bill Ranford isn't recommended, but I've seen other pads with a much better inside leg setup.
