Zero G catcher review

When I first saw this video I thought that anything made by Brians was the best. It turns out I was wrong. Although this is a great glove, it has flaws that I cannot overlook. I bought this glove from an outlet in Colorado and had it custom ordered as far as the colors go. Nothing with the structure of the glove was changed. I noticed that the glove came pre-broken in so I did not have that locker room speech with my guys to cover up my glove rebounds. After about three weeks of playing I got slashed and broke four of my five fingers in my hand. Brians sacrificed weight for protection and I came on the short end of it.
So when I re-watched this video, I understood why this is not a "true" catcher but more of a "knockdown" glove. As the reviewer states, this glove is for more of the person who knocks the puck down and covers it up.
I would not be discouraged about this glove as it is great. I really liked the split guard at the top of the hand entrance because it helps flex around the bottom of my chest protector. I no longer have the problem of wrist issues while trying to make an in-tight save.
My advice to you would be to order the DX2 Pro with the Zero G wrist guard. That way you are getting a glove with awesome movement and great protection.

Watch the slashes. This glove does not have much finger protection.
